Job Description
Job Description: As a Site Safety Officer at leading energy business, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of all personnel working on our construction sites. You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures to create a secure and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Safety Inspections:
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to address safety concerns promptly.
2. Safety Training:
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for all personnel, including new hires and ongoing refresher courses.
• Ensure that all employees are knowledgeable about safety protocols and procedures.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on safety performance to management.
4. Emergency Response:
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
• Conduct drills to test the effectiveness of emergency protocols and ensure all personnel are familiar with procedures.
5. Regulatory Compliance:
• Stay current with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Ensure that the company and its employees comply with all applicable safety laws and regulations.
6. Incident Investigation:
• Conduct thorough investigations of accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences.
• Work closely with management to implement corrective actions.
7. Safety Communication:
• Facilitate regular safety meetings to communicate updates, best practices, and address safety concerns.
• Foster a culture of safety awareness and responsibility among all employees.
Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Site Safety Officer in the energy business sector.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., OSHA) is highly desirable.
• Ability to conduct training sessions and create educational materials.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
