Job Description
A listed company is looking a head of M&A of its M&A activities within the company.
As the Head of M&A, you will be responsible for leading the company's mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures strategy. You will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and executing potential opportunities that align with our business objectives, growth plans, and industry trends. This position reports directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive M&A strategy aligned with the company's long-term objectives, market positioning, and growth targets
- Deal Identification: Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets, partnerships, or divestiture opportunities that complement our product portfolio, technology, market presence, or operational capabilities.
- Due Diligence: Lead due diligence processes, conducting thorough analysis, financial modeling, risk assessment, and synergy evaluation for potential transactions.
- Negotiation and Execution: Drive negotiations, deal structuring, and contractual agreements with stakeholders, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
- Integration and Post-Merger Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of acquired businesses, implementing post-merger strategies to maximize value and synergies.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities or potential risks.
Qualifications and Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Successful M&A transactions within the manufacturing or plastics industry.
- In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, valuation methodologies, and due diligence processes.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and evaluate opportunities that align with company goals.
- Ability to manage complex projects, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis software/tools.
