Job Description
Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Finance Director to lead the financial operations across the Rest of Asia (ROA) region, which includes key markets such as Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore/Malaysia, Philippines, and Vietnam. This role will partner with the ROA General Manager and Senior Leadership Team to deliver financial growth, profitability, and cash flow objectives. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of financial planning, analysis, accounting, and compliance, while driving continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with global and local standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Financial Leadership: Partner with the ROA General Manager and Senior Leadership Team to achieve both short- and long-term financial targets across the ROA region, ensuring alignment with company goals and priorities.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the FP&A process, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasting and budgeting. Provide insights and explanations for business drivers and relevant metrics.
- Financial Accounting Management: Oversee all financial accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely closing of books, comprehensive expense analysis, and proper recording of all transactions. Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and provide ageing reports with actionable follow-ups.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to develop, review, and present business cases for strategic projects aimed at driving business performance, including commercial pursuits, product development, supply chain enhancements, capital projects, and support for M&A activities.
- Operational and Financial Control: Drive continuous improvement in the operational, financial, and reporting control environment, ensuring compliance with global and local accounting standards, regulatory requirements, tax obligations, and corporate governance standards.
- Regional Cash Management: Optimize regional cash management efforts to ensure sufficient liquidity across all entities. Support corporate treasury initiatives, including credit management and inventory controls.
- Talent Development: Lead the development of the ROA finance and accounting function by recruiting, mentoring, and evaluating talent, while implementing effective succession planning strategies.
- Corporate Governance: Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements across the ROA region, including holding governance positions as needed.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a closely related field. CPA, CA, or MBA is strongly preferred.
- Experience:
- 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience in multinational corporations.
- 5+ years of strong people management experience with a proven track record of developing finance and accounting teams.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across cultures and with global stakeholders.
