Job Description

An international MNC company is transitioning from QAD with TM1 integration to SAP S/4HANA Cloud. The company is seeking FP/A Manager (SAP transformation) to lead this transformation. 

Key responsibilities: 
  • Working under the guidance of the global process owner (GPO) to deliver the key strategic and business objectives 
  • Represent the local business requirements for the program and supporting the program in the areas of change, local design, test scoping, test scripting, and test execution for legacy systems
  • Act in the capacity of a local super user, and therefore will be responsible for User Acceptance Test scoping, scripting and execution, and the ultimate acceptance of the solution into their business
  • Assist the program with data requirements gathering, with the collection of data in the cases where the legacy systems do not contain them, reconciliation, data validation and cleansing where necessary
  • Define the business cutover planning, and actively participate in trial cutovers and the go live
  • Understand the integration between their own process areas and other connected dependencies and functional areas
  • Escalate strategic, cross-GPO issues as needed to the GPO for further escalation as required
  • Champion the transformation programme throughout their line of business
  • Leverage working relationships within their line of business and across business functions
  • Develop communication network with Local Business users
  • Support the OCM (organisational change management) function to identify key change issues or ‘pain points’ that we can proactively manage to ensure a smooth transition and buy-in to the program
  • Work with the Change team to ensure training design, content and roll out in their areas of expertise is delivered in a comprehensive and innovative way
  • Ensure the solution is adopted effectively within their Business Unit, thus maximising the business benefit
Key specifications: 
  • Proven track record in challenging the status quo & delivering results within their Business Unit
  • Operational experience in designing & delivering change / continuous business process improvements within their Business Unit
  • Experience of working with leadership teams
  • Experience in implementing ERP systems (desirable)
  • Good understanding of the E2E process within their Business Unit they oversee, and where it needs to go
  • Excellent scoping and feasibility skills, working with the business process team to examine possibilities, alternatives and prompting thought
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing environment & good at dealing with ambiguity
  • Excellent relationship building skills and proven stakeholder management skills
