A food and beverage company is looking for cost controller. The successful candidate will report to Chief Financial Officer and be in charge of the overall cost activities.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Manage food expenses, including data collection and collaboration with the procurement department to assess food costs.
• Supervise and review administrative tasks, such as recording incoming goods from the front store.
• Oversee the quantity of raw materials used in both the central kitchen and front store.
• Control inventory checks and calculate the remaining value of goods like food, beverages, and packaging.
• Input food component lists into the ERP system and ensure their accuracy.
• Generate cost reports for sales-related products and investigate any discrepancies.
• Compile and analyze income and expenses for each branch or department, providing recommendations for management.
• Monitor and prevent losses of raw materials and packaging.
• Conduct regular inventory checks across all areas, including the store, central kitchen, and front store.
• Finalize inventory balances at the end of each month.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

 
Job requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in cost management.
• Preferably experienced in cost management within the food and beverage or hotel industry.
• Familiarity with cost accounting systems.
• Characteristics: Hardworking, honest, patient, and able to thrive in high-pressure environments.
