Job Description
Job description A telecommunications company is looking for accounting manager. The successful candidate will report to Chief Finance Officer and be in charge of the overall accounting activities.
Key responsibilities- Oversee all accounting operations for both the parent company and its subsidiaries to ensure adherence to TFRS for PAEs and SET regulations.
- Prepare and submit monthly consolidated financial statements promptly.
- Coordinate with auditors and audit committee members for the preparation of quarterly/annual consolidated financial statements.
- Submit quarterly/annual financial statements through the SET system.
- Manage tax reporting and liaise with the Revenue Department.
- Authenticate and authorize all relevant documents according to company policies.
- Supervise the company's internal control environment and collaborate with internal auditors on annual audit and remediation plans.
- Lead a team of accounting professionals, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills.
- Act as a collaborative team member and actively engage in management initiatives.
- Fulfill miscellaneous reporting and analytical requests from the management team.
Job requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the field of accounting.
- Proficiency in Consolidation and comprehensive understanding of TFRS/IFRS.
- Background in Audit is preferred.
- Adequate to proficient communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Familiarity with ERP systems, with preference given to those experienced with Mango.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Understand SET Standard
- TFRS for PAEs (TFRS 15, 16, 9)
